Final Presentations R3 – December, 2022
We concluded our third round of UX Tree Mentorship Programme on December 6 and 7, 2022, with Mentees proudly presenting the results of their four-month projects. Through the programme, Mentees were able to work with experienced professionals in the field, gaining valuable knowledge and skills in UX design.
We were amazed at the creative ideas and insightful solutions that were presented, and were delighted to see the enthusiasm and dedication that the Mentees displayed. We look forward to seeing the positive impact that this programme will have on the Mentees, as they continue to pursue their UX design goals.
This is the sequence the Mentees presented their projects:
- Rachael – Slack: Redesigning the group messaging in Slack
- Karen – PTSB: Improving the visibility of recurring card payments for permanent TSB customers
- Sharon – Irevise: Improving the on boarding style of Irevise, which will improve the user flow and website navigation
- Laura – Lighthouse cinema: Building a loyalty/ membership feature. Redesigning the “What’s on” and “Coming Soon” sections to accommodate both regular and casual users
- Ricky – Irish Rail: Improving the Irish Rail booking experience for hybrid workers who commonly repeat journeys
- Marie – Met Eireann: Improving the navigation and interaction experience of the Met Eireann weather app
- Sami – Spotify: Improving Spotify’s Live Events feed and introducing a new social feature allowing members / solo concert-goers to connect
- Shaun – Irish Ferries: Improve Booking and Order Management on Irish Ferries
- Aline – Drop Chef: Improve the ordering process on the DropChef app
- Rafael – LinkedIn: Improving the usability of LinkedIn content creator tool
- David – Ticketmaster: Improving the Search and Navigation features on Ticketmaster

In addition to our third completed round, we voted for seven categories. The winners are listed below:

It has been a tough four months, a period of great challenge and difficulty, but with much hard work and determination, we have prevailed! It is with a great sense of satisfaction that we congratulate ourselves on a job well done. Despite the many obstacles in our way, we have managed to overcome them and have reached the end of this journey. Congratulations to us all!
