Frequently Asked Questions

2 cohorts per year
February and September

3–4 months
Each mentorship cohort runs for 3–4 months.

1:1 + group mentoring
Mentors support a mentee and take part in UX Tree group calls.

Approximately 8 hours across the 3–4 month programme, including mentoring and group calls.

No. You can apply for just one cohort. If you enjoy the experience, you’re welcome to stay involved, return for future cohorts, or take a break. You can join us whenever it works for you.

You’ll support your mentee by sharing your experience, giving feedback and helping them work through real UX and career challenges.

No. You don’t need to be a professional mentor or teacher. We are looking for experienced UX professionals who are willing to share what they’ve learned.

Yes. Mentors are expected to take part in UX Tree group mentoring calls as part of the programme.

We look for UX professionals with at least 3 years of professional experience and strong English communication skills.

No. UX Tree mentoring is a voluntary opportunity to give back to the UX community.
