About

“I have an extensive background in art that I started studying at the age of 9 from learning architecture to publishing an art book. I started working as a UX designer around 6 years ago supporting small companies and moved to be a UX designer with a piece of tech knowledge to work for cloud security.

I decided to become a mentor to help aspiring designers overcome the struggles of lack of knowledge and experience that I faced myself at the beginning and to improve my skills because teaching others is the best way to study.

Why UX?

“I always found it fascinating how many areas of our lives may be affected by UX. It allows you to meet amazing teams learn things and build skills you never thought you’d have a chance to.”

What advice do you have for future mentees and UX designers?

“Find your unique talents so you’ll not be just another designer skilled to build prototypes and icons but you’ll bring your value to the team. It may be anything from specific background to good knowledge of the front-end but it should be something that stands out.”
